DC 06 - Day 4

Wow, what a day. Lab at 9 am. where we focused on our friend's story. For 3Story to be effective you need to intentionally love and listen to your friend. Then we had 2 Big Room experiences during the day. The final Big room focused on Jesus death, burial, and resurrection.
It was powerful and with The David Crowder Band providing worship music you thought you were there witnessing Jesus resurrection. Later in the evening, Paul Miserlain, Cory Huber, Eric Blevins, Stephen Steiner, Adam Wireman, and I went to the Terrace at The Washington Hotel. I had seen this on Rachel Ray's $40 a day program on the Food Network. The Terrace is on the roof of the hotel under an awning, 11 stories up. The view is fabulous. It's a block from the White House and you also see the Jefferson Memorial, Washington Monument, WW 2 Memorial, and the Lincoln memorial. We had a great time eating ice cream, while Stephen and Adam had burgers. It's great talking to the guys in my small group. They are having a great time and the Lord is meeting them where they are at in their journey with Jesus. Tomorrow we'll celebrate the 230th Independence day. Is this going to be exciting?! It doesn't get any better than being at the nation's capital for the 4th of July. Boom!!
