Lunch at Hunan Gardens

Tuesday, Pat and I ate lunch at Hunan Gardens in Lima. They have great lunch specials that can't be beat. Pat had broccoli chicken and I had hunan chicken (spicy of course!) After the meal, they give you your bill and fortune cookies. I cracked open my cookie and I read the fortune. It said, "The really great man is the man who makes everyone feel great." I thought, "How awesome is that!" To make everyone feel great should be the goal of everyone who follows Jesus. Some people just suck the life out of others. But we're called to make everyone- the lonely, the poor, the disabled, the weird, those on the outside looking in, and anyone - to feel great. Scripture tells us to "encourage one another, and build up one another..."
-1 Thessalonians 5:11. Life is tough. We need to help others to feel and be great. May you find the words to encourage all those around you. These are the days my friend!
