Sunday Moments

Today I began a teaching series in adult Bible fellowship at Ebenezer on friends. Friends can be a great source for love or a recipe for disaster. Proverbs 17:17a says, "A friend loves at all times..."

That's the right kind of friend to have. But we also know friends can lead us to the "dark side." So be careful of who you hang with. Friends are like elevators, they'll either take you up, or they'll take you down. I"m reading Joseph Epstein's book, "Friendship, An Expose" this month to see what this good author has to say about friendship.

I also wonder how Sunday went for Mary, Hannah, Wade, and rest of the youth group from Ebenezer that are in the Philippines. It's already Monday there. May the Lord use their talents to advance His Kingdom in the world.
